State enterprise                                        “Republican center for tests                                 and certifications”

was established under the ordinance № 342 dated 3rd October 2002 of the Cabinet Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan “About measures on perfection of systems of standardization, metrology and certification of products and services” and is a part of “Uzstandart” agency. The Republican center contains of 17 territorial centers and 900 employees work there.

The activities of execution of laws “about standardization”, “about certification of products and services”, “about metrology”, “about protection of consumers” and “about quality and safety of alimentary products”, and the ordinance № 318 dated 7th June 2004 of the Cabinet Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan are realized by the center.
